ahhhhhhhh!

I just wrote for an hour and it all was lost and now I have no time...I love slow computers in Mozambique...anyways...I love you. Next week I will tell you about the pastors, the chiuldren and the people I go to school with and what I meant when I used the terms "renewal movement" and "prosperity doctrine"...they are catch phrases that, as a good friend pointed out, should be avoided. peace

Steve!

Words seem so stinkin' small as I am wanting to respond to your most recent blogs. Actually, I just started understanding this blog thing and so have only been reading the emails you sent early on in your trip. Wes and I will be checking the blog site now daily as it is wrecking me even reading your words. I know you don't write every day, but I can re-read your blogs and let His Spirit woe me through the life in your words until you write again :)

How incredible to read about all that He is speaking to you. Knowing Him and being known by Him is really all that matters in this life. From seeing Him as your Daddy, to walking in the freedom and rest and simplicity that Rolland was talking about, to the revelation about prosperity and time...WOW! We need a full week on a retreat so you can teach us and impart to us what you have been learning.

We are praying for you and at times feeling somehow connected to you as
Jesus is again lighting the fire of desire in our hearts for intimacy with Him, for His presence to be our source of life, ministry and purpose. Pray for us to receive what He is pouring out in Mozambique.

I am so excited for you my brother. Wes misses you so much and I do too. We smile and laugh sometimes when we think of you and it is always out of love. :)

Cornerstone loves you and is praying for you. It seems that God is doing some very precious and exciting things in our body here. He is uniting us and breaking off anything that keeps us from being with Him TOGETHER in HIS PRESENCE and His purpose!
The vision He has for us is so beautiful and I am blessed to be a part of it. Wes, Toni and I just prayed for you last night and know that when you come home, you will feel the unity that He is sowing here.

Have an amazing day in Him. May His Spirit take you even deeper into the revelation of His love that pure freedom would reign in your heart and mind and that you would simply BE with your Father in all that you do (together).

Love to you Steve!

Steve,

Man I am just praying for you everyday. I am so excited to hear what God is doing over there. And I would def like to know more about the "P.G." and "R.M." you have talked about. And I am going to try laying in the dirt! I hope you are feeling our prayers. Lauren says Hi!

And guess what God is running a wrecking train through West Chester calling us to be intimate with him. To lay down and fall completely in love with him, die to everything that we are, seek His face alone, and let everything flow from that intimacy. I mean Tracy, Laura, Wes, Jon, Joe Peck, Bayo, more. Everyone is starting to hear the message of a radical servant-lover through nothing but intimacy. Please pray for me, I am calling everything I do but intimacy into question so I can try and hear what God wants me to do in every situation. And just pray for the church I feel another wave of God's transformation coming.

We got's to seek His face! He has everything and anything we need forever! And love is His message.

I can't wait to sit with you and just listen for hours, I know God is and will continue to do a mighty life changing transforming work in you.

Let's just seek His face and watch millions feel His love!

Love ya bro, miss ya!

Oh yea and some lady came by and ask if I was okay and I told her all about you and she thought what you were doing was incredible!

Hey Steve-o,
Geez, you've got some super spiritual friends back here, especially that one guy lying face down in the mud and causing quite a stir to pedestrians.... no matter, he'll be face down in the mud again at the next outdoor poker game, but for a different reason.... anyway, simply put, the church has certainly sent it's best, cause you're the best, and we all miss you mightily- looking forward to your next blog! Thanks for listening to my thoughts on the email!!! Love you brother!

Uh um- the reason he would be face down in the mud at the poker game was that he lost all his betting money way too early.... thought I should clarify that.....

Steve,
been a while since i've had a chance to write. been spending a lot of time with the residents. they all say hi and that they miss you. except eddie; he's forgotten all about you.
i've been praying for you a lot, though, sometimes i will admit that i don't always know how to pray for you over there. while you're gone i've been reading your books and watching your movies; the ones you had to get for this trip. the cross and the switchblade is the worst thing i've ever seen; eric estrada should be ashamed. but i've been thinking a lot about how i have been viewing my own role in the ministry for God's kingdom. i genuinely enjoy sharing God's love with others. and even though i am definitely doing more of God's work than i have in the past, i still feel somewhat inert.
but i am looking forward to hearing more about your trip and seeing how much you have been changed when you come back. even though, by then, i'll be gone. i feel that God really chose the right guy to glorify His kingdom in Mozambique so i'm glad you went. still miss you though. we'll talk when you get back. i'll be praying for you and for Mozambique. love you man. ~mick
